Leg Raises

A bodyweight movement used in 3 AMRAP workouts in the library.

How to do Leg Raises

How to do it

Lie supine, raising straight legs to a 90-degree angle, then lowering with absolute control.

The coaching cue

"Pin the ribcage to the floor."

What changes inside an AMRAP

Stop lowering your legs the exact millisecond your lower back arches off the mat.

Common mistakes

  • Dropping the legs fast and letting the lower back arch off the floor.
  • Bending at the knees as the legs lower.
